Health check-up


The health check-up aims first of all to reveal any potential pathology that may have been contracted by the patient and to identify any latent conditions.

The health check-up also provides the means to advise the person as to how to maintain their health and have a healthy lifestyle.

Certain risk factors target different age groups. Consultations are oriented as follows:

Up to 25 years the identification of risk  behaviors, sex, suicide, alcohol, driving.

Between 25-44 years the identification of risks relating to cardiovascular issues, professional and         personal life and sexuality.

Between 45-64 years the identification of risks relating to cardiovascular issues, identification of cancers, professional, sexual and personal life and sleeping problems.

Between 65-74 years identification of disability risk factors (hearing, sight, equilibrium and dietary problems), family, personal and sexual life, depression, memory…

The resources supplied for you Health check-up:

  • A referring, coordinating and general Doctor: who receives the medical files, establishes which examinations are to be carried out in order to provide a fee estimation. Who will then also interpret the results and refer the patient for the necessary specialist care should any of the results be positive.
  • The technical centre
      a centre that combines:

      • 1. Different medical specialisations
      • 2. A laboratory
      • 3. A radiology/ultrasonography centre


The check-up generally includes the following examinations (this may be altered depending on the age, gender and medical history of the patient):

  • A complete general medical examination
  • Urine sample analysis: to identify any possible blood, sugar or albumin deficiencies.
  • Blood test: diabetes, cholesterol, HTN etc.
  • Hearing accuracy
  • Biometric measures: height, weight, BMI (Body Mass Index)
  • Sight accuracy
  • Electrocardiogram at rest
  • Memory test: mainly for the aged
  • Respiratory test: detection of smoking related problems, asthma, etc.
  • For female patients, a gynaecological examination: for breast and cervical cancer
  • “Hemoccult” test: for blood in stools, identification of colorectal cancer
  • “HIV” test: if requested by the patient

If a complaint is discovered during the health check-up a consultation with a general practitioner or referring doctor may be proposed .


You will receive a fee estimation based on the health questionnaire and established by the coordinating doctor, which will also allow for the preparation of the patient’s visit and the fixing of an appointment. (Patient’s health file, thus the necessity to secure confidentiality)

Five phases:

  • A. Health questionnaire sent to CBISAS
  • B. Reception of the medical protocol for the health check-up, adapted to suit each person, with the proposition of individually personalised services and a fee estimation.
  • C. Payment on-line of the proposed fees, preparation of the pre-medical check-up and appointment with the coordinating doctor.
  • D. with the pre-medical check-up including a standard biological report, various measures (blood pressure, weight, height, BMI, abdominal circumference…), depending on age and/or responses to critical questions: PFT, audiogram, measure of exhaled CO, smoking dependency, vision… The check-up is carried out by laboratories and service providers with dedicated nurses under the responsibility of the laboratory director.
  • E. Preventative consultation with the coordinating doctor involving consultation of medical files to define targeted risks.
  • F. Submission of a written ass’essments by the doctor, with conclusions and recommandations for your health summary.
